Fjordstova cafè
FJORDSTOVA is a meeting point summer and winter, for the locals and for visitors. The building is open 08-22 every day. Feel free to sit down and admire the view or use the public toilets at all times. We have staffed opening hours for the café and the pool as listed below.
Summer
CAFÈ open 20.6-20.8. daily, minimum open 14-19 or longer.
The Cafè offers lunch and dinner every day, as well as cakes, sandwiches, mini-kiosk, waffles, ice cream, soda water, chocolate/coffee/tea.
Autumn-winter-spring
Open Tuesday and Friday (cafè 18 – 21) and Sunday (cafè 16– 19) in winter time. We serve dinner on occations.
SWIMMINGPOOL 12,5 m x 6 m in size, as well as a pool for children. Depth 0,90 -1,5 meter. 28 degrees Celsius in water, 30 in the air. Wardrobes, sauna and toilets. Children of 10 years old and below this age must always be accompanied by grown-ups. We do not always have a life guard. Not allowed to swim alone, must be at least two persons together. Buy tickets in the café, day tickets or season cards 1.1-31-12. Always open when the café is open.
TOILETS Free use of toilets,, toilet for disabled with facilities for babies.
CLIMBING WALL 12 meters high, 7 routes. We do not provide any equipment, please use your own. To use the wall, one adult in the group must be the responsable person with a valid safety course. Buy tickets in the café or on vipps 713103.
SHOOTING RANGE 25 meter, pistol and rifle, caliber 22. Rental through agreement with the local shooting association/pistol club.
EXHIBITIONS Ludwig Wittgenstein exhibition. Our Heritage – an interactiv exhibition based on Urnes stave church and the other heritage sites in the country.
GYM Fitness room with different exercise equipment. Buy tickets in the café or on vipps 713103.
THE HALL On the ground floor there is a banquet hall with amphitheater for 145 persons. Total capacity is approx. 200/250 persons. Easy access for trucks. Projector, screen and separate control room. Connecting wardrobe with showers and toilets. Internett access, lighting and sound available.
CONFERENCE ROOMS The rooms «Biblioteket» and «Kontorstova» can seat approx. 20-50 persons and is equipped with screens and modern technical gear for e.g. teams-meetings. The Café has a capacity of approx. 150. Screen and projector available, as well as microphones.
RENTAL OF FJORDSTOVA Fjordstova is suitable for meeting, conference, wedding, memorial service and other private parties. We also offer rental of café and kitchen. I is also possible to rent the house with food, staff and cleaning services. Please contact us for a reasonable offer!
HUSFLIDSBUA SOUVENIR Souvenir shop with locally produced handicraft and gifts from Luster and other parts of the country. Open in the peak season and on request.
OFFICES There are 6 modern offices, one of them available for drop-in. Conference room/lunch break facililties with a small kitchen, comfortable furnitures and a toilet. Please contact us via email fjordstova@skjolden.com for short or long terms rental.
PARKING Fjordstova offers free parking. There are 3 plug-in chargers for cars available.
